The European Commission sets the value of contracts above which tenders must be advertised and published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) on a two year cycle.
On the 30 November 2011, Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1251/2011 was adopted, revising the Euro thresholds for the next two years.
The main advertising thresholds with effect from 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2014 are as follows:
